POP Nashville and Little Octopus have partnered with with Parnassus BOOKS to celebrate the highly anticipated release of ZAHAV: A World of Israeli Cooking. The event will offer bites and drinks from the book prepared by Little Octopus Chef Daniel Herget. Come hang out with Chef Solomonov who will be on hand signing and personalizing cookbooks (for sale onsite), taste his incredible food, and learn about his journey as a Chef.

Michael Solomonov was born in Israel and grew up in Pittsburgh. He won the 2011 James Beard Award for Best Chef, Mid-Atlantic. With his business partner Steven Cook, he opened Zahav (which means gold) in 2008. They also own Federal Donuts, Dizengoff, Abe Fisher, and Percy Street Barbecue, all in Philadelphia. Solomonov was also voted Eater’s chef of the year in 2014.
